Shay & Ivy
Manhattan’s West 24th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues showcases a cross-cultural selection of restaurants from tacos to gumbo. With the upcoming opening of Shay & Ivy, Progressive American cuisine and crafted cocktails will now be represented. Shay & Ivy is owned by young and talented restaurant entrepreneurs, Evan Rosenberg and Daniel Rieger, who met while honing their skills providing marketing for brands in the hospitality industry. This is the second restaurant from the duo that opened Atwood Kitchen & Bar Room. Executive Chef Brad Warner is creating a menu comprised of accessible and simple preparations to lure the neighborhood diners. The restaurant will feature a well-curated cocktail program with high-quality ingredients and spirits, fresh-pressed juices and a premiere coffee program. The 2,400 square-foot restaurant, located adjacent to the new boutique hotel, Hotel Henri, will have 90 seats inside (including bar seating,) a 36-seat 450 square-foot outdoor patio, and a private event space. The restaurant will have a natural yet sophisticated feel with simple whites and grays to create an airy vibe for early to midday dining, while a touch of brown allows for a warm dinner, late night and cocktail experience. Guests at Shay & Ivy can expect to be greeted by lush greenery, caramel banquettes and natural woods and stone throughout the space.
